Pinellas International Council (PIC)
Welcome to the award-winning Pinellas International Council of the Pinellas Realtor® Organization.
International real estate no longer is a niche industry, rather an important, growing sector of the real estate business. This is attributed to the expansion of globalization, which is having a powerful impact on real estate markets worldwide. Click here to read NAR's report on International Home Buyers in Florida. Many PRO members with traditional local clients are looking to grow their business into the international sphere, and they are turning to their real estate associations for advice and resources. It’s with this in mind that in 2009, we launched the International Council of the Pinellas Realtor® Organization.
The International Council will strive to research and gather relevant information and resources to provide its membership an overview and understanding on how to participate and better serve the international market. The information and resources compiled will be shared with the general membership via educational programs periodically offered. Resources also will be made available through this website. Our hard work has been paying off and in 2011 we were named a "Gold" council by the National Association of Realtors® - only 8 other international councils in the country achieved this!
International real estate business is very much relationship-driven and it will take time to develop. But with preparation and commitment, one can create long-term value in this fast-growing sector of the real estate business.
