Reasons Why Realtors® Support RPAC - In their own words

Imagine having a political force on a local, state, and national level working to protect your interests. Actually, you do. RPAC funds are used to enable PRO, FAR and NAR to work diligently to make sure your interests are protected.
“RPAC looks out for our best interests and it is nice to know that my contributions to RPAC have made a difference.”
- Pat Ivers, Broker & 2008 PRO Chairman

RPAC at Work – Protecting Your Interests

The most important aspect of RPAC is the protection it provides to your profession and every-day work. For example, RPAC has fought the possibility of national banks from engaging in real estate brokerage and property management. Last year congress passed a two-year ban prohibiting such threats. RPAC has also enabled better access to home financing, resulting in the House of Representatives strengthening oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and increasing the conforming loan limit. Many issues important to Realtors® and the industry as a whole remain and your continued support is necessary to ensure the passing of new legislation protecting you and your business.
As Ted Tomas, Broker-Associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, points out: “I have supported RPAC for many years because I feel it is important to protect our real estate business, and to have politicians who are working in our best interest.” |
Together REALTORS Have a Voice. A Strong Voice.

Now more than ever it’s important that Realtors® stand together to support RPAC efforts. RPAC enables the Realtor® community to form a unified force to make a difference. Even the smallest of financial support by each Realtor® will amount to a powerful power of influence as RPAC continues to work for you.
As Tammy Taylor, local Realtor® with Realty Executives in Seminole says: “With all the difficulties facing our industry today I believe we need to stand together now more than ever, that is why I both give and volunteer for RPAC.” |
